Free heroin for addicts in police-led scheme – The Instances

Addicts are given free heroin as part of a program in license centers where they can inject Class A drug up to three times a day.

The project is being launched by the Cleveland police and health agencies to cure the most drug addicts by giving them access to medical and other healthcare professionals. The program has been estimated to cost around £ 12,000 a year for each addict. The licensed centers are open seven days a week from autumn.
