Worldwide Day towards Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking: NCB Chandigarh to organise on-line com… – Hindustan Occasions

The Chandigarh Zone Unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in collaboration with the State Legal Services Authority, is organizing online competitions to host the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, "Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life" to celebrate.

The NCB, the hub of the Indian law enforcement and intelligence agency for drugs, celebrates the day on June 26 each year with a 14-day program to highlight government action against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

The Chandigarh unit is located in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana (excluding NCR) and is aimed at parents, teachers, policy makers, health workers and preventive staff, and shows how risky behavior can be identified and drug use prevented .

This year, online competitions on topics such as song composition and music video recording, painting, and anti-drug slogan writing contests are organized.
